As an institute of national importance under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, NIPER Hajipur stands as a pillar of excellence in pharmaceutical education and research, uniquely positioned to drive innovation and transform healthcare in Bihar and beyond.

Nestled in the historic land of Vaishali, where ancient wisdom meets modern ambition, NIPER Hajipur is more than an academic institution—it is a catalyst for advancing pharmaceutical sciences and improving public health. Our mission is to empower the next generation of pharmaceutical leaders through rigorous education, cutting-edge research and impactful community engagement.

Our academic programs, including M.Pharm., M.S. (Pharm.), M.Tech. and Ph.D. in disciplines such as Biotechnology, Pharmacy Practice, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Regulatory Toxicology and Biopharmaceuticals, are designed to prepare students for success in a competitive global landscape. As an Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Center (AMC) and Medical Device Adverse Event Monitoring Center (MDMC) under India’s Pharmacovigilance and Materiovigilance Programmes, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety and efficacy of drugs and medical devices, directly contributing to public health.

Aligned with the Department of Pharmaceutical’s vision, NIPER Hajipur is committed to developing affordable, innovative and accessible healthcare solutions, strengthening India’s pharmaceutical self-reliance. Through the Centre for Excellence in Biotherapeutics, efforts are underway to advance the Make in India initiative, aspiring to build a global hub for safe, cost-effective biotherapeutics for worldwide distribution.
